DeVree

DeVree Keevan Campbell embodies all that a new-school upcoming singer-songwriter should. Not only inspired by rhythm and blues, but resolute to write and record in untraditional genres, such as: Indie Pop, New Acoustic and Trip Hop. Reigning from Chicago’s east-side, sharing the same stomping grounds with the city’s newest, groundbreaking acts, DeVree is a dogma of R&B set by timeless Artists.

graduate of Bronzeville Scholastic Institute and Southern Illinois University student, Mr. Campbell’s music journey began when he started singing at the age of 6, treasuring and honing that talent. At the age of 18, he found himself engulfed in different writing styles from melodies to poetry, respecting and keeping true to his art form. While continuing his education, freshman year, DeVree sought to find his own voice in the pages of lyric that had been written, sitting idle in his notepad. It wasn’t long before he looked to inspiration and drew inspiration from icons such as Ryan Leslie, Frank Ocean, Mali Music and John Legend. He looks to blend with these similar writing styles with a voice similar to a comparison of August Alsina and The Weeknd, making himself a bit of a paradox.

This is only the beginning of a very fruitful journey. Cherry Entertainment Consulting Group, LLC (CEcG) recently signed DeVree with the promise of building a foundation of stepping stones of where to take his career next. With development in presence, performance and persona, he has already been invited to perform in venues in New York, Houston and throughout the greater Chicagoland area. DeVree is also unfolding an untitled Freshman EP to be released in Spring 2016, under the management and supervision of CEcG.

Unchaining his brand, DeVree hopes to build a new, well-sought following and image in representation of his hometown for the world to see. With his vision and dedication to music, he will do just that.

Baron Buck$

The town of Bridgeton, NJ birthed the rapper Baron “Buck$” Sheppard, Jr. By the age of 5, by reasons of being stationed with his father, he moved to Hawaii and by 7 he was finally home in the city of Tampa, FL.  The city moved fast for Baron without realizing the talent he could forth come. Baron immersed himself in rapping, taking it seriously, at a young age. Something in his culture he admired soon would become apart of him. At 15 years old,  the recording booth was another place to call home. He rapped and wrote for years on end.

In Tampa’s hip-hop scene, Buck$ holds 100+ showcases under his belt, creating a name for his persona with goals to travel and make the artistry his full time career. Baron’s craft of spitting creative lines and metaphors lifted to wordplay to bounds beyond the city and has now found him managed by Cherry Entertainment Consulting Group (CEcG) of Chicago, IL through previous engagements with UnCompromised Music Entertainment. CEcG has plans to place Buck$ on a tour circuit late 2015, as well as get a medium rotation of Buck$’ hottest hits on mainstream radio.  Young Buckaroo is now in the process of rebranding and building an icon of a persona, as well as building a solid, loyal base of fans outside of his stomping grounds. He has goals of performing nationwide for a plethora of new listeners and is looking forward to his gleaming future in entertainment.

Jay Hunna

Reigning from the heart of the Windy City, Jesse “Jay Hunna” Bland dreams to be a testament to the Rap and Hip Hop genre. The Gage Park High School graduate has unveiled his aptitude as a lyricist, and fights to keep content in his lyrics, while building a new fan base and taking steps to rebrand himself.

Tupac, Krucial Konflict, and Do-Or-Die is where Hunna’s love for music began, and has expanded overtime through gaining inspiration from other Chicago Recording Artists who were staples in the ever-changing sound from the melting pot city. At the age of 17, he began to rap and originated as the infamous ghostwriter “Jada Hunna.”  He is continuing to transform his target audience to convert to his new and improved persona.

Hunna previously partnered with a local promoter to begin performing at venues early in his career. After seeing him perform and hold crowds on his own, things went south. He learned from his moves and pushed his career forward on his own. Now with CEcG, Jay is in development of creating a new EP, and looking forward to performing at multiple venues during the fall and winter of 2015. Also, in addition to music, Jay is also well versed in acting.

With the maturation of recent individual projects, and upcoming releases, he hopes to build a new and well-developed name and image to represent his self, his struggle, his triumph and his sound. Plans are advancing for Jay Hunna to headline CEcG’s Daylight Curfew Music Tour 2016, and perform nationwide as a marketing strategy for his late coming LP. He has hopes of internationally entertaining for a well-deserved and desired melting pot of fans.
